The rooms were clean and affordable, but management could be better. Movement felt tightly controlled, and I had a bad experience being singled out. I’m a senior citizen, and they wouldn’t let me renew my room until 1 p.m. I was made to check out and leave at 11 a.m. just because my daughter came to visit and make sure I was okay. Hotel Bel-Air is managed by people of Indian descent and serviced by Hispanics. Most guests are Black, yet there are no Black employees at the front desk or in room service. Management can be rude and even hostile. They constantly watch the security cameras and confront guests during checkout. Rates start at $65, but go up to $75 if there’s more than one guest at check-in.

The room was filthy, and the pictures online are very misleading. There was hair all over the sheets, bathroom floor, and shower walls. The sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed. A sticky cup ring and 11 cents were left on the nightstand, so that hadn’t been cleaned either. After showering, my feet were dirty from walking around for maybe five minutes. I don’t recommend this place.

The room was lovely, with clean bedding and all the towels and toiletries I needed. But the cigarette-dumpster smell made me feel sick to my stomach. I wish they didn’t allow smoking in the rooms.

We came from California with a group of friends. The pictures made the hotel look clean, but calling to book rooms was disappointing. The person who answered spoke very poor English and was really rude. We called on 09/02/2025 at 20:55. Don’t recommend coming here.

Beautiful, clean, peaceful, and spacious, and the nightly price is cheap and affordable. But be warned, this place is definitely 100% haunted. I’ll only share details of my personal experiences from every time I stayed in the hotel’s rooms. If anyone wants to hear those stories about what happened while I was here, reply to this review. 🙏🙏🙏 Have a blessed night! 🙏🙏🙏
