Houston Airport Marriott at George Bush Intercontinental

My king room in the north tower was spacious and clean. The bed was a bit firm but still comfortable. There are only 40 TV channels, though you can sign into YouTube or Netflix to stream more. The service was great throughout. Someone helped me with my luggage on the escalators, check-in was easy, and the staff at Flights were lovely. Special thanks to Hector and Rebecca for being so warm and helpful. It's the hotel's only restaurant, with a breakfast buffet. For a quick lunch with protein, the chicken and cheese quesadilla works well. I liked the smothered chicken for dinner, served with mashed potatoes and broccolini. On-site parking is around $30 a day. I'd recommend staying here.

The staff made this stay feel uplifting. From the front desk and housekeeping to the M club and restaurant, people were consistently friendly and helpful. Even hearing the kitchen team being pleasant with each other and enjoying their work made a difference. Management deserves credit for creating such a happy workplace. At FLIGHTS, Micheal, Patti, and Megan each went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. I've stayed at many Marriott properties. Some have good teams, and some have staff who seem overworked and unhappy, but this group is at the top of the ones we've encountered. I'd return just for the feeling that so many people seem to enjoy their jobs. Congratulations on creating that energy.

This airport Marriott is handy, between terminals B and C. It's clean, quiet, and the people are friendly. The beds are comfortable, like at other Marriotts, and there were no surprises, just what you want. Terminal B is being rebuilt, so currently you have to take the skytrain to terminal C and leave the secure airport area. After baggage claim, go downstairs on the escalator, then follow the temperature-controlled tunnel to the hotel. The walk takes about 10 minutes, or you can take the underground subway if you prefer. Supposedly the terminal B construction should be done toward the end of 2026, and then access directly from B may be possible too. Please mark this helpful if you think it is.

The skybridge connecting straight to the terminal made getting around the airport so much easier and less stressful. After a long travel day, I found the room spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The bed was just right, and the soundproofing let me relax despite being inside the airport. The fitness center and dining options were especially good; the food was delicious and service was outstanding. From arrival on, staff were welcoming and attentive. Check-in was quick, and everyone I met was friendly and professional. My stay at the Houston Marriott at IAH exceeded what I expected. I'd gladly return and recommend it to anyone passing through Houston.
