InTown Suites Highway 290 Fairbanks

Dominique, you’re badly missed as manager. My room was about 25 yards from Highway 290, and traffic was deafening day and night. I asked for a weather strip or sound barrier at the door, but it never came. There were too many drug addicts, and temporary staff did nothing about it, even letting a guest who had stabbed someone return. They overcharged me twice and canceled my stay when I was rushed to the hospital after collapsing. After I’d already paid for 13 weeks and stayed on, they also raised my weekly long-stay rate to match a new booking.

I ended up sleeping in my car and will never recommend this location. I arrived for a weeklong stay before 7, but the office was closed at 6:58. I looked all around the building for help and finally found a resident who told me they closed at 7. When I called, I was told the office closed at 6, even though my confirmation email said check-in was from 11 p.m. to 7 p.m. I changed my check-in to the next day, and they still tried to charge me the exact same amount. This feels like a grift.

Dominique Williams made me feel welcome and helped everything go smoothly during my stay. The rooms and everything else were put together well, and I enjoyed being here.
