Landing Apartments Houston

The building and complex are nice, and it’s a good area, but that’s where the positives ended. We chose this place for recovery after surgery and confirmed early check-in several times over a few weeks. We arrived three hours after the agreed time, then sat in the lobby for 1.5 hours with no return call from management. None of the VRBO or management numbers we tried worked. The unit lacked basics despite the listing: just about three ounces of dish soap, no hand soap, shampoo, or toiletries, and an unusable dishwasher. The kitchen had no baking dishes apart from a round cake pan, and no oven mitts, salt, pepper, cooking spray, foil, or Tupperware like we see in most rentals. We had to order essentials from Amazon, but deliveries weren’t allowed upstairs. There were no instructions, map, or guide for finding amenities in the Landing app or the unit. The all-fees-included rate somehow changed on VRBO by a couple hundred dollars. We raised issues in the app, but nothing was done. The Landing management experience didn’t match what the listing led us to expect, and the problems were never resolved.
