Market Square Tower

The staff make it easy to feel at home here. The concierge team is thoughtful and friendly, and repair requests or complaints are handled the same day or the next. Kelly, Sarah, Leo and Victor deserve a special mention. The building administration is warm and understanding, and keeps putting on fun events throughout the year. There’s a ton to enjoy, from the pools, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi to the basketball court, table tennis, movie theatre and golf simulator. The coffee machines are excellent, the views are amazing, and there are storage units in the basement. Free EV charging is another nice perk. For me, MST is easily the best place to live in Houston, even if you don’t work downtown and have to travel against traffic. Five stars don’t really cover it. I’m not sure what else they could improve.

The rooftop glass pool is gorgeous and so absorbing that you could lose track of time there 🤍. It’s a lovely couples’ retreat, with a bright, modern room and a spacious bathroom with a tub.

The community is what I’ve heard less about, and it’s one of the things that makes living at Market Square Tower feel different. Management puts on several events each month, from weekly Champagne & Yoga and fitness boot camps with smoothie vendors to surprise breakfast and lunch pop-ups and usually one or two bigger parties. The resident only Sky Lounge adds to that feeling. I’ve toured other high rises with nice amenities, but they felt like empty hotels, with little pride from residents. MST feels like home, and that’s made settling into Houston much easier for me. People here are helpful and professional while still keeping a comfortable distance. Maintenance, Valet and the Concierge all feel like family. Once I casually mentioned to the concierge that the "Skee Ball" machine in the well-kept arcade wasn’t lighting up. I meant it as a joke, but the attendant took it seriously, apologized and arranged an immediate repair. Even small requests get that kind of attention. I’m never worried about an amenity being broken or a common room being untidy when I have guests over, and I’m proud to bring loved ones here. I feel listened to when I raise a concern. Management takes requests seriously and tries to find a way to say yes. When something can’t be done, they explain honestly what they tried. I’ve never been brushed off or left wondering what happened. I spent a week in Houston before moving and toured every notable high rise and many mid rises inside the loop. For me, MST had no competition. It’s known for the extensive amenities, and its downtown location brings some of the city’s best views. My advice to anyone new to high rise living is to consider the management team and leasing agent as well as the building. You’ll deal with them when you need help, and Leo, Victor and Kelly are the best team I could ask for. I’m looking forward to calling Market Square Tower home for a long time.

I moved here in June 2023 from a so-called high end property in Galleria where poor management had made it feel unsafe. Leonardo, Victor, Kelly and the rest of the team have made my children and me feel welcome, and they deal with issues promptly and politely. The Concierge and Valets are welcoming and helpful, too. The amenities are the best in the city, in my opinion, and everything is clean and working. Staff make a real effort to look out for residents. I’ve also made many friends among the families who live here. I’m hoping to stay for years and would recommend MST to anyone looking for a straightforward, great place to live. And count me in as a referral, haha.
