The only real issue in my room was that the tub drained so slowly it filled up while I showered. The inside door lock also didn't work right, though there was a latch, and it seemed like a problem with that particular room. I told the staff in the morning, and they apologized. I trust they'll look into it. Otherwise, the place was impressive. The rooms are updated and extremely clean, and so were the parking area, sidewalks, and empty trash cans. The property is very well lit, and the staff are friendly. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in the motel.

I booked both rooms within 10 minutes of each other, and then canceled one. The cancellation request was denied under the policy, and now I have three days to wait for Booking.com to respond about a refund. I booked weeks ahead and accidentally chose a smoking room. I'm coming from N.Y and picked this hotel based on the reviews. Either the hotel's policy or Booking.com’s needs to be read carefully before booking. They keep pointing fingers at each other. The new management and the rest of the staff are amazing. Everyone is super friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean, and well kept, and the outside of the hotel looks beautiful. The women who clean are really thorough. I love this place and would give it more than five stars. Please stay here if you get the chance.

The rooms are clean and nice, and the room service is good. Customer service is the best, the rates are affordable, and it's a great place to stay.
