The Chifley Houston, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The staff were friendly and easy to deal with, and the hotel’s recent renovations were done really well. Our Jr suite felt upscale and had what we needed. Check-in was easy, the thermostat worked well, and both the bed and other furniture were comfortable. The bar and restaurant were very nice, and the food was good. The Chifley is excellently located for the Galleria area.

The Chifley was clean, which is always a plus for me, and the customer service was great throughout. Cam and Sal stood out in particular. They went above and beyond every day to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. I really enjoyed my stay. Tara H.

We were pleasantly surprised by how convenient the location was, with lots of nearby restaurants and easy access in and out of the city. It was our first time in Houston, and we chose the hotel because we’re Hilton Honors members. The rooms were clean and all suite style. We didn’t use the amenities, but there’s a small outdoor pool and a gym.

I asked twice in person and called three times for an extra blanket for my son. The responses were nice, but nobody ever brought one. When I called, Marissa left me on hold. It was 5 in the morning, and I doubt the phones were busy. I suspect she was doing what the gentleman had done the night before, ignoring me. I’m checking out today and going to another hotel. If I’m spending the money, I want service to come with it. Being a Hilton rewards member seems to mean nothing here. The front desk service was a huge disappointment, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Maybe this is part of Hilton’s training program. Good help is hard to find.
