The place started out well, with good management and a board led by an elected president. Since DGE Investments took over, three of the reasons I rented here disappeared in the first week: free laundry, built-in Wi-Fi, and valet trash. They put payment screens on the existing washers and dryers, and half the dryers don't dry clothes properly. If they’re going to charge for laundry, they should at least replace the old machines with better ones. I’ve heard this company is known for keeping security deposits without reason and leaving people in unlivable spaces. It feels like greed will send the property downhill from here. I’ll update this if things change.

The location and price were what brought me here, but Consuela and Ruby are a big part of why I’m glad I moved in. They’re professional and bring such positive energy whenever I meet them. You don’t often see people so enthusiastic about their work. I’ve lived in several complexes, and this one stands out for how consistently things are handled. Maintenance requests get quick responses, and the property is in good condition. I don’t usually write reviews, but the team made this place worth mentioning.

Kroger being right nearby is about the only thing I can say in this place’s favor. The management has been so bad it feels unreal. Under the old management with Consuelo, things were much better. DGE INVESTMENTS and its GIGANTIC corporate structure took over a month ago, and I can’t name one good thing they’ve done. They own 8,700+ properties, and everything here has gone downhill. My lease ends in 4 months, and I’m definitely moving out. They now charge $2.65 per load for washing and drying, then another $0.50 every 8 minutes. That adds up. They completely removed valet trash, and valet trash has somehow gotten MORE expensive. They’re also removing the internet and telling us to arrange our own, even though the apartment Wi-Fi works fine. A front desk employee sent everyone a letter saying, “Oh, the wifi is not working for everyone.” What a lame excuse. Even paying rent online costs another $3 just to “process” the fee. On top of that, they’re raising rent and making us pay utilities ourselves. All these corporate people seem to care about is money at tenants’ expense. You can look them up. DGE INVESTMENTS has had more than 30 lawsuits and plenty of negative one-star reviews online. I’m telling friends and people I see at work every day not to rent here. I’ve had it with this management. 😡 😤

I’ll keep trying to visit the complex, even though the website is outdated and Ms Rishanda told me it was no longer valid. She also said the displayed information didn’t need to be taken down. That leaves new residents getting scheduled and then arriving unable to tour. The first time I contacted the leasing office as a potential resident, the staff were unhelpful, condescending, and disrespectful. Ms Rishanda and Mr Keith in particular came across as rude and incompetent. I was left waiting on hold in the lobby for over an hour, with no estimate or apology. When I tried to speak with their manager, Mr Keith called me “irrational” instead of getting a supervisor. Customer service training seems poor or nonexistent. Maybe they aren’t focused on sales goals and find it easier to mistreat people to get rid of them. The prices seem good, but Tarantino properties should know what’s happening, or their staff’s behavior and lack of accountability will keep giving them bad publicity.
