For the price, this was pretty bad, and I won’t stay here again. Lots of people’s cars were broken into in the parking lot. The elevators were broken, so we had to take the stairs to the third floor. The website says there’s a hot tub, but there isn’t. It also says there’s a balcony, but the door is sealed shut, so you can’t use it. Our room had stained carpet, some lamps with no bulbs, and walls that looked like the painting wasn’t finished. We got two bath towels and a floor towel, but nothing for drying our hands and no hand soap. There was no refrigerator or microwave. Breakfast was inedible, and they didn’t restock things when they ran out. The lobby and breakfast area were freezing, around 40 degrees, because the door to the pool area had a huge gap and didn’t seal. Our room’s AC rattled and squeaked loudly, and we had to kick it to quiet it down whenever it came back on.

We stayed here for a convention at NRG stadium. The cooling in my boyfriend’s and my room was wonky, but otherwise it was fine. Friends in the room across the hall saw a roach. The place advertises free hot breakfast, which sounds like it’s available every day. Wrong. There was only one day with hot food. On the other days, we were lucky to find milk for cereal. I’ll let our friends know not to stay here on our next trip.

It’s super close to the NGR stadium, which was fantastic, and I’d stay again. You get what you pay for, and I was satisfied overall. The hotel was mid, though, and most of the elevators were broken, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was horrible and basic: disgusting eggs that were only edible with the sausage, plus a handful of cereal and muffins. The shower had a nasty-looking buildup.

It was quiet, and the hotel wasn’t as bad as some other places. It was close to where we needed to be, though definitely not a five-star hotel. It was probably very nice at one time, but a lot of things need work. Breakfast was a joke.

The hallways smelled like smoke, and the place didn’t feel as sanitary as it should. There are a lot of outdated things around the hotel. For example, part of the toilet seat’s top layer was chipped away, leaving wood underneath that you can’t wipe clean. It’s an okay place if you have nowhere else, but it wouldn’t be my first or second choice. As a man, I wouldn’t stay here with my wife and kids. And before I forget, the breakfast is horrible. The guy who puts out breakfast is also the security guard.
