Mini Golden Inns Motel

A few things made the room especially comfortable: the two queen beds each had four pillows, the blackout curtains kept it dark, and the AC cooled it down really well. The shower pressure was great, and having the sink outside the bathroom was handy. There was also a TV, fridge, and microwave. Front desk hours are a little odd, but free bear spray to borrow is a nice perk. It’s an affordable place about 20 minutes outside the park. I’d recommend it, 10/10.

On our way back east along US2, we stopped here after leaving Wisconsin on April 21 and heading west. The place was clean, spacious, and really nice. The folks were friendly and kind, and clearly wanted guests to have a wonderful stay. We did!

We only had to go about five minutes after calling Lucinda around 9:30 pm to ask about a room. We’d driven east to west through Glacier National Park and wanted to be near the west entrance for an early return the next morning. Otherwise, we were considering sleeping in the truck. Lucinda had a room available, was super nice, and took time to explain what we needed even though it was late. The room was clean and had two queen beds, a nearly new-looking dresser, a small table, microwave, mini fridge, and smart TV. There was also a small sink with a mirror and great lighting, plus a shower and toilet. Don’t pass it up just because it’s a motel, it’s a gem.

We were four adults in the two-bedroom suite for four nights, and it worked out perfectly. Having a fully equipped kitchen made it easy to pack sandwiches and snacks for our long hiking days. The Mini Golden Inn is ideally located for getting to Glacier National Park, and the spotless rooms and super comfortable beds were welcome after the trails. The air conditioners worked really well, too. The motel exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely come back on our next trip.
