The Heritage Inn

This was a horrible experience at a terrible time in our lives. We were there to bury our son beside his favorite grandmother. Even though we'd booked months ahead and called the hotel itself to ask about its "pet friendly" policies, we were denied the room we'd paid for because my wife has a documented and licensed service dog. They said we could only have a double bed room, and if we didn't like it, we could leave without a refund. The room was infested with roaches, and the bed was hard and dingy. Please spare yourself the heartache and go ten miles further to a better hotel.

I've stayed here many times over the years when visiting friends, and was glad to see the rooms had been updated since my last visit. The Heritage Inn is always my go-to in Huntingdon. The shower has great water pressure, and there's a nice-sized vanity with a sink, a large fridge, a microwave, and a flat screen TV. Clean room! ❤️

For a little motel out in the middle of nowhere, the rooms were nice and clean, with no sign of bugs. There's a fridge and microwave, the staff are friendly, and it's secluded and quiet. There's no breakfast 😞, and dogs are allowed, but they charge $25 a day for them. The ice machine works, and stores and restaurants are within a 5 min drive. Not bad overall, and you definitely won't find a better price nearby.

The beds were comfortable, the hotel was great, and the AC worked really well in the summer. My only issue was the refrigerator, which was freezing everything. I tried to adjust the knob, but it came right off. My friend and I needed it mainly to keep milk for the 3 year old with us. When I mentioned the problem at the front desk, I literally got asked, "what do you want us to do about it?" Other than that, everything else was great.
