Comfort Inn & Suites Huntington Beach

Breakfast was hearty and gave us a good start each morning. The location helped too, with restaurants and shopping centers only minutes away. Our room with two king beds was a little small, but clean and comfortable, and housekeeping kept it tidy with fresh linens each day. We arrived around 8pm after traveling with our family of three and were tired. A third-party booking mistake had put the wrong last name on our reservation, but the front desk lady and manager stayed patient and attentive while they sorted it out. The room, service, cleanliness, location, and breakfast felt like good value for the price. I’d gladly stay at Comfort Inn & Suites – Huntington Beach again.

Jessica at the Comfort Inn in Huntington Beach made my one-night stay feel like I’d been there for ages. She was easy to talk to, welcoming, and full of upbeat energy from the moment I arrived. I really appreciated how cared for she made me feel. Thanks, Jessica, you’re a gem.

People in the room next door, through the connecting door, smoked weed all night before we checked out. The hotel then charged us $200, saying an inspector found our room smelled like weed. I’ve tried calling to reach a manager, but apparently they’re too busy for paying guests. This place feels like a trash motel. They seem to pile on fees and lies. Stay away, there are better and more honest places.

The location gets three stars from me. It is what it is, but it wasn’t bad. I’d stay here again. The room was spotless, though my wife said, “They use bleach on their sheets.” If you have allergies, no worries, all good. Service gets five stars: our trip booking was a total disaster, through no fault of the hotel, and the staff sorted out the hotel part without a problem. They were always courteous and professional.
