Travelodge by Wyndham Ocean Front

We had a great experience with the management. The staff were kind and friendly, and my 4-year-old had a great time going to the beach a few times each day. We upgraded to a room with a balcony and ocean view, and it was well worth it. We could hear the waves at night and in the morning. There are basic-price rooms, and the upgrade costs more, but for the price they offered when we visited, it's hard to find anything like this. You're a minute from the beach, and there's parking underneath. I'd definitely recommend it. Take a minute to talk with the hard-working manager or staff. We'll come back whenever we have time off work. Thanks to the staff and management for their kindness.

We stayed for one night in late February. The room was huge, parking was free, and check-in was quick. The beds were big and comfortable, so it was great value for the money. The bathroom felt tiny for such a large room, though, and the floor and carpet were terribly sticky.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, even though the hotel itself is older. The manager was so accommodating, and I'd encourage guests to take a moment to talk with him. There's a walkout to the beach and the location is great. We plan to stay again, and I'd recommend it to people cruising out of Long Beach.

The location was absolutely perfect, and it's why we chose this hotel even though we didn't expect much from it. The room smelled foul and was disgusting. The mattresses were gross, and the bathroom was clearly very old. There was no breakfast, despite the booking site saying it was included, and the place didn't feel very safe. I expected a bit more from Wyndham.
