Several guests couldn't confirm their reservations, and others were locked out of their rooms in the evening with all their belongings inside. Nobody at the property could be reached that night or the following morning. I contacted Expedia, where I'd booked, but they couldn't get through to the owner either. The office was locked and there was no one at the desk. The phone went unanswered over two days, including over the holidays. Hard to believe a motel would have guests staying without any staff on site or anyone reachable. Do not stay here.

I called the website number to ask for a local phone number, but the man wouldn't give it to me. He transferred me to the hotel, where nobody answered. Then the website booked a room automatically while I was only trying to check the price. I had to call the listed number again and get transferred twice just to confirm the booking had been canceled without a fee. The customer service was terrible. After all that frustration, I would never stay there.

The hotel was overbooked, and the front desk couldn't refund me. I called the number they provided, but they couldn't arrange it either, so I had to take it up with my bank and hope it gets resolved. Follow-up: Filing a claim through the bank was the easiest way to get the money back. It came back right away.

The property has new ownership and new management now, and it's being renovated. I trust the person I've met there and feel the leadership is much better than before. The former owners neglected the place, so please forgive that. The new owner is trying to make enough money to flip it, and reservations should be honored now. I recommend giving it another chance and booking here.
