The view is beautiful, but it wasn't worth what happened. As a bride, I want other couples to know: the owners provided almost nothing and didn't clean before my wedding. They kept arguing about my nontraditional ceremony and decor, and tried to change things right up to the day. Three months before the wedding, they said the employee who had me sign the contract had done it wrong, and that I now owed tax and a ceremony fee. I wouldn't agree to that. A week before the event, they also tried to add a charge for heating the outdoor wedding. They kept passing blame when serious problems came up. I wish I'd sued when they first tried to renegotiate the contract. Save yourself the trouble.

Barbara, the property manager, was wonderful to work with, always just a phone call away and ready to help. She came up with some great ideas and solutions, too. Twin Lakes is such a beautiful venue, and the wedding by the lake this past weekend was lovely. I was the wedding planner for our godchild and his fiancée. Thanks again, Barb!

We booked a few cabins for guests coming from far away and for anyone who'd had a little too much to drink. The cabins even had heart-shaped jacuzzis. The birthday party itself was catered by Twin Lakes, with delicious food served by attentive staff, plus a full bar and hours of dancing. Then came an amazing bonfire, with more laughing, stories, and memories to share. We only expected a good party for a 23-year-old woman and her friends, but the whole night turned into something wonderfully unexpected. Thanks to Twin Lakes and the staff for a birthday celebration I'll remember for a long time.

My daughter and I had booked for 10/19/19, but the property was closed when we arrived. The driveways were blocked, weeds had taken over, and no trespassing signs were up. They had my contact details, but never reached out to give us time to find somewhere else.

Rooms vary a lot in what they offer, though the lake itself is really nice.
