For a night or two in Huron, Gulf Motel is a good option if you want a comfortable bed at a good price. Our room was clean and a great value. Dale, the owner, was very nice and pointed us to somewhere for a late dinner after most places had closed. There was no WiFi, but phone signal was enough for us.

The rooms were pleasant but pretty basic, and the TV was tiny. The train tracks are very close, so it was noisy. We also had no housekeeping during our two-day stay.

Very disappointed. The dirty rooms had moldy shower curtains, and there were no clean towels. It was overpriced, had no AC, and smelled like a dump. This place should be shut down.

The accommodations were first class. Room service is expensive, but the filet was more exquisite than any I've had between the Huron River and Artino Ford.

They refused me a room because I smelled like cigarette smoke, and they were very rude. There weren't any clean rooms, either. The owners' personal hygiene needs desperate help, so I can only imagine what the rooms look like.
