A car breakdown came up unexpectedly during our trip, and the Sleepy Inn in West Virginia made a stressful situation much easier. The staff were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. One gentleman with gray hair in a gray hoodie really stood out. He was positive, welcoming, accommodating, and went out of his way to make us comfortable. I regret not getting his name. I think it may have been Matt, but I'm not certain. Whoever he was, his kindness and attitude were unforgettable and meant more than he probably knew. After a long, stressful day, the excellent hot water was a huge relief. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, and breakfast was great, just what we needed to start the day. The cleanliness, comfort, and especially the genuine hospitality made this a memorable stay that exceeded our expectations. We're very grateful and would absolutely recommend the Sleepy Inn to anyone passing through West Virginia.

The cliffside view from our window was lovely, and the location made getting around easy, with the highway just minutes away and restaurants and shops about a two-minute drive. The rooms and lobby/breakfast area were very clean. My kids were thrilled about the free cookies and popcorn at check-in, and breakfast had lots of choices, including a waffle maker. Great price, too. We’d definitely stay again!

The breakfast had rice and miso soup, which was a great touch. The staff were consistently pleasant to talk to and always willing to help guests. Thanks for the great service so far!

The room and shared spaces were extremely clean, and breakfast was better than what you usually get at a hotel, with rice and miso soup as well. We arrived tired, hungry, and grumpy, but the staff were so kind and helpful, and there were cookies and popcorn waiting for us. We’d absolutely stay again when passing through.

The popcorn and cookies in the evening were such a thoughtful extra, and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. A special thank you to Mark at the front desk. During a very difficult situation, your kind words made us smile each night. We appreciated that thoughtfulness so much.
