My truck was out of commission over a four-day holiday weekend, so as a Dallas-area trucker I needed somewhere to spend the time. This hotel covered the basics well: a good bed, cold AC, and a decent shower. Staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was serviced regularly. I was glad my non-smoking room didn't smell of smoke, which is hard to find. It was quiet too, with no sign of it being a party hotel.

Google calls this a two-star motel, and I've stayed in motels all over the country, including several Motel 6 locations. I've never been to one without a working ice machine or drink vending machine. This is Dallas, and apparently I'm supposed to spend several days drinking warm water.

A roach was scurrying around the bathroom when I arrived, and the room had a weird smell. There were burn holes in the blanket cover and no soap anywhere. This motel is total TRASH. I'm never coming back.

Just checked in and already regretting it. The king bed has a big hole, there aren't enough towels, there's no shampoo, and most importantly, no coffee pot in the room. I'll never stay at Motel Six anywhere again. Smh.
