Courtyard Cape Cod Hyannis

The rooms were quiet, the beds and linens very comfortable, and the temperature control worked really well. Staff were friendly, and the dining area was roomy, pleasant, and well lit. Breakfast had an à la carte menu and Starbucks Coffee options, which I appreciated, though supper choices were limited. The hotel was well maintained overall, but the room door needed paint along the bottom and the grout around the tub needed refreshing.

The staff were warm and courteous, and the hotel was neat and clean. I liked the motel-style convenience, especially the side doors that open to the car park, which made getting our luggage in easy. The room was a good size, though I felt it needed more lighting. There were no tissues, and I missed having ceramic cups for hot drinks instead of paper ones. I also couldn’t get the large ice vending machine to dispense water, something seemed stuck. We had a comfortable two-day stay, mainly thanks to the location, with some of Cape Cod’s best cafes and restaurants within a 10-minute drive.

The location can’t be beat, and check-in was quick with plenty of parking. This is a typical Courtyard: rooms are spacious and decently clean, though some are in better shape than others. The A/C always works, and I like being able to open the windows for fresh air. There are plenty of excellent food options around, so don’t bother with the restaurant.

We planned on two nights but checked out after one. The room smelled like urine, especially in the bathroom and around the air conditioner, and there were hairs in the bathroom. The Sunday evening front desk person was unfriendly, though the Monday person was friendlier.
