I spent 13 nights here. The neighborhood was quiet, the owner was nice, and I slept well on a good bed. Keyes Beach is two blocks away, an easy walk with sidewalks. Getting out onto the side street is challenging, though. The place is quaint and felt like staying at Aunt Mabel s, but it could use remodeling and basic upkeep, like weeding and clearing clutter. If new and fresh is what you like, this probably isn't your kind of place.

The photos looked pretty, the reviews were good, and the prices were tempting, but I ended up having to find another hotel. I booked a week ahead and arrived during the advertised check-in hours to find an empty office. I rang the bell, called, waited half an hour, and walked around calling out, but nobody answered. After trying over and over to find someone who could check me in, I gave up and drove around looking for somewhere else. A few days later, the charge appeared on my card. They charged me for a room I couldn't check into. Luckily, it was only a one-night booking. The place looked nice, but they wouldn't let me in and still charged me.

The owner was really helpful, even with my 11 pm check-in. It felt like staying at Grandma's house: a little dated, tacky, and honestly kind of ugly. The wallpaper was definitely in style 30 years ago. That's also what gave the place its charm, and I wouldn't change a thing. It's no-frills, clean, quiet, affordable, charming, and close to the beach. If you're after a 5 star hotel and will write bad reviews over every small imperfection, this isn't for you. But if you want the simpler kind of stay I just described, it's perfect.

The bed was super comfortable, and check-in and checkout were very easy. We picked this place because it was my first time in Hyannis and I wanted to be near the beach, which was about a 5 minute walk away. The room was amazing, and I really have no other complaints. The shower was very small, though, and left the floor messy after I used it. Tall people, beware. The rooftop deck was nice, and there was also a yard with plenty of chairs and a gazebo. Thanks for adding to my vacation.

The room was nice and the bed was comfy, but it felt very eerie. Around 3am, the rocking chair started moving and woke me up. Then it felt like someone sat on the bed with me, but nobody was there. The owner was great, though I never met him. He took my payment and sent a lock box code with directions to my room. Strange, but I was glad to have that option. Definitely a good place to stay.
