The people really made the difference. Ethan and Sarah were very helpful, and Braeden from maintenance helped us out too. The General Manager made sure we were taken care of, and Teara gave great customer service when we checked out. I haven’t seen service like this in a while.

The front desk was usually empty, so there was nobody around when help was needed. Breakfast was a mess, with empty portions, food served badly, and machines that didn’t work. The pool room labeled “heated” was 56F, and the pool itself was quite cold. At least the hot tub worked and kept us from hypothermia. This place felt understaffed and mismanaged. It’s still better than sleeping in your car, but I’d go to the other Best Western down the street if you can. I’ve stayed here before and it wasn’t this bad, so maybe we caught a slump, but service is inconsistent and unreliable at best.

Tressa made this stay stand out. When I needed an extra blanket, she was already bringing one up before I’d finished the call. Later she came to the room when the TV gave me trouble, fixed it in minutes, and had me laughing. She was warm, professional, and clearly cared about guests. I hope management recognizes what an asset she is. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was fresh, hot, and plentiful, the beds were heavenly, and the hotel felt calm and relaxing. The property was clean, quiet, and welcoming, and every staff member I met was kind. I stayed on August 15th, and when I wasn’t sure where to eat, Tressa suggested several local restaurants that were spot-on. She also gave me ideas for things to do around Idaho Falls, which made my short visit more enjoyable. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, but she made me feel genuinely welcome in a way that’s hard to teach. This became one of my best hotel experiences. If you’re visiting Idaho Falls, I’d stay here. You’ll be in good hands, especially if Tressa helps you.

I booked this for an employee. When she arrived, she found bed bugs, took a picture, and put some in a bag. The front desk said we were lying and refused to help. When they called me, they were rude and gave me attitude. I work in hospitality for a company that doesn’t manage hotels in Idaho Falls, and my colleagues were flabbergasted when I told them how I’d been treated. Don’t book here. They have bugs, don’t seem to care about dealing with them, and will call you a liar.
