The free breakfast was very good, and the room itself was good. But the mattress was hard enough that I could feel every spring. We were on the first floor, where water could be heard running through the wall pipes whenever someone above flushed a toilet or turned on a shower.

The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My only real issue was the heat/AC unit’s placement right beside the bed. There was barely room to walk past it, and it blew air on the person sleeping on that side all night. We were only there for one night. By the time we figured it out, our kids were asleep in the other bed, so we didn’t want the hassle of checking whether another room had a better setup. Hopefully the layout isn’t the same in every double Queen room.

We could walk to so many good nearby restaurants, which made exploring easy and fun. Idaho Falls is a charming town, and people everywhere we went were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Idaho Falls were kind and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and its location was perfect. It was a relaxing, fantastic stay from start to finish. We’d absolutely come back.

Step outside and you’re right on the river walk, and the outdoor sitting area was great. The people were amazing, and the bed was comfortable. We could occasionally hear people in adjoining rooms or in the hallway, but it wasn’t too bad. I wish all the Marriott properties hadn’t switched to lavender-based shower products, so I’ll have to remember to bring my own.

The breakfast and view were great, and the beds were comfy. The room itself was nice, though the layout was awkward with the beds facing the bathroom. The fridge didn’t work very well, and the shower had green stuff that looked like boogers.
