Argo Inn and Suites

The stream outside my room was beautiful, and hearing the water was lovely. I wanted to leave the sliding door open to enjoy the sound, but it had a stick serving as a lock, which made me feel a little unsafe. For an overnight stay, it was still nice. There weren’t enough towels, and the rooms need updating. The quality of the personal care and hygiene wasn’t up to par. The morning office worker was kind and professional. The person there when we checked in at night was nice, but not professional.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and both times the room was very clean and quiet. The front desk staff have been polite and helpful. On this visit, the back door was stuck, but the man at the desk came over and fixed it right away. We pass through every few months and will keep staying here. The creek behind the hotel is a nice bonus.

The creekside balcony made the stay especially nice. We could leave the back door cracked open at night and listen to the water, and even in hot July we didn’t need AC. The next morning, watching people go rafting and mountain biking felt really therapeutic. It’s also just a short walk to the little downtown. We found this clean, cute inn at the last minute when we didn’t want to drive any farther, and it turned out to be a great choice. The floor was spotless and the towels were fluffy and fresh-smelling. After a higher-end chain hotel the night before, where the floor was sticky and trash was outside our room, this place was much better. We’ll come back.

The location was great, and the man at the front desk was kind and helpful. The inn wasn’t very clean, though, and there was no soap for washing our hands. A strange noise kept us awake all night. If you’re looking for something cheap, this is your place.
