Heidis Inn Ilwaco

We arrived around 7:30 pm, checked in, and found several problems in the room. The flooring bubbled up in multiple spots and felt like it might give way. Both beds had sand on them, and one had no bottom sheet. The TV had no internet connection, and there was no phone in the room, so I tried calling the front desk on my own phone. Nobody answered all night. We had no TV and no bottom sheet. When I went to make coffee, the pot was filthy, and there was mold inside when I opened it. There was no ice machine either. I usually don't like leaving bad reviews because I know things happen, but too many problems piled up here. I took pictures of the dirty, moldy coffee pot and would share them if I knew how. I won't return, and until things are fixed, I wouldn't suggest others stay here. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

It brought back memories of my childhood beach house. The place isn't fancy, but it works well, and the room was clean and inexpensive for a night. The manager seems to handle nearly everything, from the office and room cleaning to remodeling, and was both helpful and kind.

We stayed on Feb 14th in the “wreck room,” the only one available during the Astoria festival and Valentine's. We expected it to be funky and didn't mind that, but it was very dirty: the counters, floors, and kitchen were all dirty, and of the two showers, one was clean and the other wasn't. We were charged $165 on booking. Com. The motel was quiet, and we enjoyed exploring Cape Disappointment State park, but I wouldn't stay here.

The manager, Wade, was very accommodating, and the rooms were clean and reasonably priced. They welcome pets for a reasonable price too. There's a microwave, fridge, coffee pot, and a TV with lots of channels. Just around the corner is Olde Towne Trading Post Cafe Antiques, a quaint little espresso and cafe with awesome homemade food.
