Candlewood Suites Cleveland South - Independence by IHG

We'd driven from Niagara Falls to Cleveland on Thursday night, but the hotel we'd booked was a disaster, so we called around for somewhere else. Joseph at Candlewood was friendly on the phone and made us feel comfortable enough to leave our current hotel and head over. When we arrived, he showed us two rooms so we could choose the one that worked for us. The place smelled great, our room was perfect, and the pool was huge and clean. The stay turned a bad start into a great vacation. Joseph and the rest of the staff were friendly, and we couldn't have been happier. We'll definitely stay again!

The rooms are consistently very clean, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. If you're staying in the area, especially for a longer visit, this is the place I'd choose.

The kitchens and bathrooms are clean and updated, and the rooms are nice, as you'd expect from an IHG hotel. The internet is great, which matters to me as a gamer. The people here are about as friendly as they come. At off hours, staff are sometimes behind the wall. There's a motion sensor by the front desk for the little market, so just wave in the doorway and it chimes in the back. It's easy and not enough to count against service, especially since they've already been so helpful. The hotel is in a conference center, so people are around the lobby all the time.

The main entrance is in a strange spot, and there are a lot of parking lots, but it's a great place to stay. The staff are top notch, the rooms are nicely updated, and it's pet-friendly. It felt safe and friendly.
