I loved starting the morning in the beautiful garden with my coffee. The hotel had a really nice breakfast, too. Inside, it was beautifully decorated, with spacious, comfortable rooms and comfy beds. There were also little spots around the property where you could read or watch TV. I'd absolutely stay here again.

The place was spotless and the bed was soft and comfortable, but we didn't think the stay justified the price. Breakfast was disappointing, and the coffee was weak. It has a unique character, though the interior felt a little odd. Without A/C the room was stuffy. We tried turning down the thermostat, but it didn't seem to change the temperature, so we think the hotel may control it. Having stayed there now, we'd probably choose somewhere else next time.

The owner was doing everything himself because he couldn't find anyone to work for him, and he had the place well in hand. He cooked breakfast for about 40 people, and it was ready by 7 a.m. There was a real spread, including eggs, sausage, and cereal, not just pastries. We only stayed one night while passing through, but the hotel was clean, well managed, and pleasant. It's hard to find beds my partner and I both like, and these were comfortable. I like supporting small businesses, and this one's great. We'd stay again if we're back in the area.

Our room was roomy and clean, and the courtyard was lovely. It wasn't fancy, but that suited us for the price. We also liked the family room on our floor and the option to check out movies. My husband and I had a chance to talk with the owner. We found him delightful and down to earth. It's a quirky, charming, fun place to spend the night.

The skylight in our room was such a treat. Getting real sunlight from above made the room feel nothing like the usual dark hotel room. Fantastic! My boyfriend found this quaint little place after his usual hotel chain had no rooms available. It was tucked into a somewhat residential area, so I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived, but the stay was fantastic. Cleanliness matters most to me, and I was impressed by how clean it felt. I've spent decades staying in five-star hotels at $200-$300 a night, and plenty of those rooms didn't come close. You can tell when the people running a hotel have a personal stake in it. They're invested, and it shows. We'll come back!
