Kansas Inn Independence

For $52.50 a night, the room was nice, clean, and really comfortable. It also had cable, wifi, a mini fridge, and an air conditioner that almost works too well. My complaints are the microwave turntable doesn't fit, so something meant to take 2 minutes and 20 seconds took me 8 minutes because it wouldn't spin. There also weren't any open outlets by the bed. The only ones I could use were by the entrance and over the vanity near the bathroom.

The room was extremely clean, and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Staff were friendly and very helpful too. Great place for an affordable price. We'll definitely be back.

It's an older motel, but reasonably clean and fine for the price. I like being able to drive right up to the door. The TV is a good flat screen, the bathroom has been updated, and the carpet and walls are fair. No complaints.

I booked a room for a week, and the staff were friendly. I used to inspect for bedbugs for several years, and less than a minute into checking the room I found an adult bedbug full of blood. I took it to the front desk and asked for a full refund. Make your own decision.
