We’d come back if the elevator service were fully working. The rooms and facilities were very nice, though the furnishings looked a little dated and were in the process of being updated. Each of the 24 rooms has two bedrooms, two baths, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living room. The northern building elevator had intermittent problems on Tuesday and Wednesday, which was very inconvenient for people who had trouble with stairs. When it still wasn’t running Friday morning at checkout, staff were very willing to help carry luggage downstairs. Elevator service was promised for Friday, which would hopefully restore full service.

For the price, location, condo size, and views, this is a five-star spot with a lot of potential. A few changes and needed capital improvements could really make it shine. But I don’t think it’s safe for pregnant women or people with health conditions. There was a strong damp, mildew smell when we arrived, and the dehumidifier inside was full and not running. The main bedroom tub only got about two inches of hot water. When we tried to shut it off, the tap was stuck for a long time. The toe-kick under the main bathroom sink cabinet is kicked in at one end, which could let water in, and there were black mold spots on the shower curtain. Cabinet fronts and doors had sticky hand and finger marks. The kitchen had just one large knife, and it was incredibly dull. The popcorn ceiling throughout didn’t look to be in good condition and seemed unsafe. The elevator was out of service from arrival through checkout. Maintenance started early Saturday morning, hammering and making a lot of noise. The day before, they had painted all around the staircase we used to reach our room. On Saturday, the front desk called to ask whether we were in our room and said they had overwritten our key and needed to give us a new one. It seemed like someone might have been in the room while we were gone. That night, the sprinklers ran for a long time, spraying our rental car and the other cars in the parking area. Watering at this time of year may kill the grass, and they shouldn’t be spraying cars. The maintenance man was periodically lingering around the parking area during our stay, which made us very uncomfortable. As many online reviews say, the furniture is old and worn and needs replacing. The curtains, blinds, and carpets also need regular deep cleaning.

The two-bedroom condos are a nice size, and they all face the beach. Parking is on the first floor, with the units starting on the second and a decent view. There’s also a small pool area with a grill and a boardwalk to the beach. During our stay, the elevator in the other tower wasn’t working. Our room’s furniture was a bit worn, and the master bath had minor water damage that could use some attention. Still, we had a nice stay and would return.

The office was welcoming and very responsive, and they can give you lots of details about the area. Parking caused no issues. The resort is about an hour’s drive from the Orlando airport, and it’s an easy trip. The rooms are nice and spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and the property supplied beach and pool equipment. If you need somewhere for little ones, this is it. Mine wanted to see the beach, and the accommodations had everything we could ask for.
