Holiday Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach S-Harboursid

All the employees were really nice, and we had a great time at the hotel, even though the water park was closed. The kids still enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, mini golf, and restaurant with live music. My friend and I booked adjoining rooms for my daughter's birthday, a two queen suite with a marina view and a two queen room. With the door open, it felt like a huge apartment with a full kitchen. Both the rooms and the facility were clean, and they had the plates, silverware, cooking supplies, and everything else we needed. We want to come back when it warms up so we can visit the water park, and next time we'll bring a boat since it can be parked right behind the hotel by the marina view. We thought it was really great, even though other reviews said people hadn't had a good time.

The Holiday Inn on Indian Rocks Beach felt noticeably nicer than a typical Holiday Inn, with a high quality property and excellent customer service. As professional photographers, we photographed a wedding there in January 2026 and had an experience that went beyond what we expected. Barney was our main contact, and her knowledge, attentiveness, and commitment made a real difference. The weather was unpredictable, so the wedding plans changed at the last minute several times. Barney calmly helped us, the couple, and the vendors adjust each time. Weddings are stressful, especially when the weather causes complications, but her warmth, kindness, and experience were reassuring. She adapted and reorganized plans on the fly, and her leadership helped the couple enjoy their day despite the challenges. We highly recommend the venue for weddings, and Barney deserves recognition for her outstanding service.

We had a great Florida vacation here and would absolutely stay again. The beach and the trolley to Clearwater Beach are both a two-minute walk away, and there's a water park and plenty of restaurants nearby. It's a really nice hotel, and the staff are friendly. Russ is amazing.

The staff, including the environmental staff, were all courteous and nice, and the location is near everything. The room was clean, though basic, with a Keurig, three regular coffee pods, two sweetener and creamer packs, and one tea bag. I was visiting family and mostly just needed a place to sleep. Since I get up at 5 and need cream in my coffee, waiting for the restaurant to open at 7 was no good. I asked at the office and got four more sweetener and creamer packs, most of which went to waste. I finally went for breakfast at 7:30, and the service was pleasant with plenty of coffee. I booked four nights and checked in on 12/14, but was surprised to see a $40 daily resort fee on top of the room and taxes. I don't swim, so two water park passes and a pizza discount card didn't seem worth that extra charge. Then at 9:30, when I tried to shower, there was no hot water, just tepid water, even when I turned the control all the way to hot. With hair below my shoulders, I gave up and took a very quick shower, figuring I could go another day without washing it. Luckily, I had the option of staying with family, so I checked out after one night. Would I stay again? Maybe with children, if someone explained what the resort fee covers. Is it for the boats docked beside the hotel, hearing the bar being refurbished early in the day from a first-floor room, or watching people play mini golf outside the window? I have no idea.
