Reef Club 209 - With Tennis, Pool

I was enjoying coffee on the balcony when a staff member started loudly announcing the rules outside by the pool first thing in the morning. Earlier, he’d followed us to the elevator while talking about what we weren’t allowed to do. We’re adults, and that treatment felt like being followed around like children. Aside from that, the week here has been absolutely wonderful.

We stayed in the three-bedroom penthouse from July 31 to Aug 7, 2021. It was very nice, and since it was my first time in Tampa, I’m now thinking I might want to move there in a few years. Each condo is privately owned. I believe the person we rented from has several units on the top floor, and the view and amenities were great. They also look after the grounds outside. These places aren’t brand new, so it depends on what you pay for. It’s very kid friendly for a family trip, and there are restaurants, bars, shops, and a gas station within walking distance. You can also call a place to rent beach gear by the day or week. We’ll visit again and rent from these people.

Each unit is owned and rented through a different company. The pool area has been updated recently and has plenty of space. It’s a lovely place to spend a week, with amazing beach access and views.

It’s an older, funky place, but still quite nice. The pool was clean and well cared for, the beach nearby was quiet, and parking was adequate. Nothing fancy, just an affordable, solid place to stay.
