The Narrows is in a beautiful setting, but our July 2023 family reunion was heartbreaking. We paid $22,000 for two weeks, or $11,000 a week for seven of us, and the staged photos had us excited. The old property wasn’t well maintained, and the guesthouse had multiple problems. We took our own photos on arrival, and I still have them to share. After our stay, we reported the issues to the State. The owners fixed some of them, and an Inspector told us the property hadn’t been registered at the time. It has since been registered. Friends who visited were appalled and urged me to write this, though I hate leaving negative feedback. We made the best of it, but I don’t want anyone else to go through the same thing. With some work and care, it could be lovely, and hopefully they’re working on it. Buyer beware, I wish we had been 💔

The owner was such a sweetheart, and hearing her stories about the property made me like her even more 😊. It’s a peaceful place where you can take care of your needs and feel at home. For me, it also felt spiritual.

The views are good and it’s a nice place to sit, but the bar never seems to be working well, so don’t count on getting the drink you want. The bartenders were young and rude, and didn’t seem like they wanted to work. The woman singing on Saturday was very rude and didn’t sound good either. My daughter and I had a bad experience, and we probably won’t be back.

Great spot, and I’d rent here again. The view is lovely, the beach is just steps away, and the pool is warm. Parking is tight, but it’s manageable.

The staff made the stay feel special, and I had such a great time. The beach was quiet and very clean, and the place is beautiful. I'd recommend it to anyone.
