Sand Castle III 404

The beach is beautiful and the building is well maintained, but our stay in unit 404 had some real problems. A resident seemed to enjoy shouting at vacation renters. When people were at the pool past sunset, he yelled at them instead of explaining the rules and asking them to leave. We also had to spend a few hours indoors because a maintenance person came by twice without warning to work on all four broken sliding glass doors and a leaky toilet. He spent much of the time cussing and yelling at the doors. On arrival, the kitchen appliance handles and the cabinet doors and handles were sticky and dirty, so we didn't check in that first night and waited for it to be cleaned properly.

The beach was never crowded, and the sand was soft with clear water. We had a great time at Sand Castle III, and the condos are a good size with lovely Gulf views. We hope to come back!

Our favorite thing was the location, with immediate access right onto the oceanfront and spectacular sunsets and evening waves from the fifth floor. The condo was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed and more. Check-in and checkout were easy, and early in our stay the owner thoughtfully checked that everything was in order. Sand Castle III is a perfect family vacation spot. Highly recommended!

Unit 305 was very clean and beautiful, with a lovely view from the deck. The kitchen was well equipped.
