Sunburst Inn

The Gulf view was beautiful, and the beach was just 10 steps down the deck. We stayed two nights in room 9 at the Sunburst Inn and loved it. The room was roomy, very clean, and had really neat retro decor. Chairs, paddle boards, and other amenities were provided. Communication was great, and check-in and checkout were easy. The beach town has a cool feel, with neat shops close by. My wife and I are already checking the calendar to see when we can return.

We stayed three nights in room 10 and loved every minute of our vacation. The view of the beach and the amenities were better than we expected, and the room had everything we needed. We chose the Sunburst Inn because it's pet friendly and will definitely come back. It's in a great location, with several places to eat nearby and two big grocery stores not far away. Jason, the staff member we met, was very nice and gave us a couple of good restaurant recommendations. We wish we'd booked a longer stay, but we'll be back.

We stayed in the Penthouse suite, which I think is the cutest place in the whole Inn, and I can't wait to come back. From booking until well after you're home, Sunburst Inn communicates better than any hospitality company I've dealt with. They use texts, emails, and phone calls, and go above and beyond to make your stay right. The location is perfect: step outside into salty air and soft sand, with excellent restaurants nearby, some just a short walk away. It was almost a flawless experience. If I'm being picky, the cabinetry trim wasn't finished and the living room rug needed cleaning.

We loved how easy it was to arrive and find beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels ready to use. The room was clean and really cute, and the location was amazing, just steps from the beach, which is why we booked. We had a great time sitting and taking in the view. There were some downsides: no ice machine, and our fridge didn't get very cold, so we needed ice for drinks. A place to hang wet swimsuits and shorts would've helped them dry overnight instead of packing them damp and sandy. Parking is terrible, with very little space and tight spots. You have to back onto Gulf Blvd, and it's hard to see. We didn't need service, so I can't comment on that. Everything was sent by email, with no need to check in or out at the office. We had a great stay and will visit again. Hope they have an ice machine by then.
