Hotel 465 by Regency Inn & Suites

This was awful. The room was filthy, with cockroaches and mice. The refrigerator didn’t work, and the air barely did. I was also supposed to get my deposit back, but the guy still hasn’t sent it, and it’s day two. Who can I contact about this?

No bugs or roaches, and the beds were nice with lots of blankets. The toilets were so clean you could probably drink from them, figure of speech. It was cheap, and the staff were nice. Great hotel, I recommend it.

I’d give this zero stars if I could. There were roaches, the lights didn’t work right, and they never seemed to have clean sheets when we asked. We had no TV remote, and when the TV broke and the roaches got terrible, we had to change rooms. The second room had even more roaches. After 24-48 hours, the heat stopped working. The key cards kept failing, then the lock stopped working altogether, so anyone could enter without a key and we had to lock it from inside. They wouldn’t repair it. Instead, they gave my husband new batteries and had him fix it himself. Bugs ruined our game systems, TVs, and mini fridges, and even mine and my husband’s CPAPs, our medical equipment. We paid for two weeks but moved out after one, and now they’re giving us the runaround about a refund. Do not stay here unless you’re willing to lose expensive belongings.

The $40 cash deposit was never returned, even though the receptionist gave me two mobile numbers to call in the morning. I told her I’d be checking out early, around 6:50 AM, and she said that was fine. I called both numbers several times that morning and again later, but no one answered my calls or texts. I eventually had to contact Expedia support for help. They wouldn’t take a card for the deposit. The first room was crawling with dozens of cockroaches and other bugs, on the floor and walls, and even one walked across the front desk counter. Maybe they brought out extra roaches for Halloween, who knows. The receptionist was polite and moved us, but the second room had no fridge or microwave. Its front door lock didn’t work, so the receptionist had to open it with her special keys, and there was part of a dead bug on the pillow. The bathtub was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests. The whole place felt dirty and neglected. We’ve stayed at dozens of hotels for work over the years, and this was easily the worst. Dirty, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. Avoid it unless you’re collecting bugs for Halloween. 😈
