Quinton Oliver, the Lead Concierge, made a big impression on our stay at the InterContinental Indianapolis. He contacted us before we arrived to help make everything smooth, and when we entered the lovely lobby, he greeted us with complimentary versions of our favorite drinks, which he’d remembered. The front desk team was also warm and check-in was easy. Since he knew it was my birthday, we were upgraded to one of the hotel’s finest suites. It was stunning, and inside was a handwritten note from Mr. Oliver along with our favorite beverages. My son and I also ate at the hotel restaurant, where the staff were attentive and the food was delicious. The state-of-the-art gym was another real plus for me. We had an incredible visit, and as someone who often stays at luxury hotels, I can say it was one of my most memorable experiences. Thank you, InterContinental Indianapolis.

Quinton really went above and beyond for us. I contacted the concierge about a week before our stay to arrange a birthday surprise for my wife, and he organized champagne, chocolates, and flowers for our arrival. She was thrilled. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with nice rooms, a lobby bar, and live music. It’s also a great spot if you’re visiting places near Monument Circle. The staff made the visit memorable, and we both loved our stay at the Intercontinental Indianapolis Hotel.

The location downtown, right by the circle, is a real plus. It was my first stay at the Indy Intercontinental, and check-in was first rate. The upscale room had plenty of amenities, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There are two bars on site: the rooftop one has nice views but was noisy and crowded with a younger crowd, while the lobby bar was quiet and pleasant. The elevators were quick and easy to use. I highly recommend the hotel.

The gym was well equipped, and I liked that bottled water there was unlimited. I also ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel a few times. The menu selection was fairly small, but the food was good, and breakfast was ordered from a menu rather than served buffet-style. During my mid-March stay, a blizzard hit and the hotel thoughtfully provided umbrellas. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I spent three nights in a two-queen room booked through American Express Platinum’s Hotel Collection. The building is older, but a recent renovation left the interior feeling clean and refreshed. There isn’t much of a lobby lounge or shared workspace. I was in Indianapolis for a conference, and aside from a few small desks and sofas by the banquet area behind the breakfast restaurant, there wasn’t really anywhere to meet or work outside the room. Soundproofing could also be better, as a noisy next-door room can be a problem at night. I was satisfied with the stay, and the hotel is a worthwhile option for people using The Hotel Collection benefits.

We first stayed here over the summer to see a show with a good friend, and as frequent travelers we were impressed by the service, food, rooms, and everything else. Now I’ve booked a group of rooms for myself and friends for this coming weekend, and I can’t wait to go back. If you want the best hotel in Indianapolis, look no further.
