Deluxe Inn

We had a fridge and microwave in the room, plus parking right outside the door. The place is close to the Polo Club grounds and Walmart, which made getting around handy. Service was great, and the room was clean. I’d come back. There are train tracks across the street, though I wasn’t bothered by the noise. If you’re sensitive to it, keep that in mind.

I left after half an hour. There were big stains and hairs on the sheets, and both mattresses had large blood splatters. A strange blue substance was on the sink too. I didn’t want to get close enough to inspect for bedbugs, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some. It was a revolting room, and even $20 would feel like too much. My car was cleaner. It’s a budget hotel, so I wasn’t expecting fancy sheets or breakfast. At $200 a night, though, I did expect clean bedding and a mattress cover over those stains. They refused to refund me. The phone quote was $170 plus tax, then the price changed when I arrived. Maybe they got those mattresses from police murder cases, but I wasn’t sticking around to find out. For $200, you too can star in a horror film. At least use bleach and laundry detergent.

Roy at the front desk was polite, professional, and knew where to point us for a good meal. The rooms are compact but cozy, with fresh towels and clean linens. There’s also a small fridge, microwave, and a nice-sized TV with a remote. It’s a quiet little place, and the rates are very affordable.

Everything was clean, and the price was only $70. It’s a lovely place with a wall mural and ceiling painting, plus a mounted TV. The room I had came with a microwave and mini fridge, while some of the others have kitchens. Service was nice compared with the other places along the street. One of the better hotels around here, and I’d recommend it.
