Rodeway Inn near Coachella

The place was quiet, and the rooms were clean and had plenty of space. The dog park was clean, and the pool looked nice, though we wished we could've gone in. Breakfast was the one letdown. At 9:30 am, they were out of waffle batter, milk, and juice, so get there early.

The owner's beautiful dog greeted me at the door when I arrived for a quick overnight stop. I chatted with the owner, who upgraded my room without me asking. The suite was cute, spacious, and very clean. I pass through a few times each year, and I'll definitely be back.

After 24 days on the road from Port Angeles, Washington, to PHX, we couldn't keep driving and arrived around 2 am. My travel companion handled check-in, so I can't speak to that part. I've stayed at several hotels and motels on this trip, and this cute little place was wonderful. It was immaculate, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious and well appointed. After some awful stops, this one was a five for me. I'm shocked it has just 3.7 stars. I guess you can't please everyone. For $60, I thought it was a little gem. We wished we'd had time to use the pool. If you need a budget stop while passing through indio, don't hesitate.

The front desk clerk was especially kind and helpful. The woman working in the morning was really nice, too, and always helped whenever I needed something. One of the best motels I've stayed at. I'll be back and recommend it.
