DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager adds fees that aren't clear up front. My room was quoted at $550 for two weeks, but I was charged $662. My buddy wanted a week and was told $280, then the total came to $480. The manager says the price is "before tax," then adds a huge tax or hidden fee. He's also rude. He works the employees very hard, and the two housekeepers are clearly scared of him. He had staff mowing in the rain and sweeping the parking lot at 11pm. He won't let children play outside either. He wouldn't even let a 3 year old use sidewalk chalk on his sidewalk. He's rude and shady. DO NOT STAY HERE! Edit: Now the lying manager says I never stayed there, so here's the receipt from my card.

I appreciated how quiet and easy the stay was. The Regency Inn in Iola, Kansas (Hwy 54/16) is a simple place without frills, but it had what I needed to relax. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the staff were welcoming and helpful from check-in through check-out. The location is especially handy if you're passing through. I'd stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting a reliable, comfortable place in Iola.

I've been staying here for a while, and the price is reasonable, the cheapest motel in town. The manager is kind and understanding, and if something comes up, he works hard to make the stay as good as he can. The rooms are very clean. It's hard to find a better place at this low rate.

A good value, with spacious, clean rooms and well-maintained hygiene. The owners are available whenever you need help. It's right in the middle of town, with good people staying nearby, and feels very safe. I'd definitely recommend it to women traveling alone and to families.

We found bugs in the room, filmed them, and showed the staff, but they wouldn't refund even one of the three nights we'd paid for. We'd stayed several times before and were regular customers. They also always raise the price from what they quote over the phone. Management didn't seem to care when we asked for a refund. I tried calling to speak with them, but no one ever answered or was available. I'll never stay there again.
