The staff at the Fly Shop were welcoming and really helpful while I'm still learning to fish. They set up my rod, helped make sure I had the right gear for the local area, and suggested some fishing spots that worked out well. You can tell they care about helping customers have a good day on the water. I had a fantastic visit and left feeling like a loyal customer. Thanks for all the help!

We had a great three-night stay in this basic, affordable cabin and didn't run into any problems. It's only about 30 minutes from Yellowstone. I'd recommend it and stay again.

Beau had us catching some amazing fish in a truly beautiful spot. He was down to earth and ready to have a good time with our motley crew. Holy smokes, I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a fly fishing guide. 10/10. #Beauknows!

I had planned a road trip from Texas to Canada and booked this place well ahead of time. A week before leaving, I was in a serious accident and needed major surgery, so I had to cancel everything. The other hotels and lodges I had booked were understanding and worked with me. Here, the staff, especially Kessen, were cold and dismissive when I explained what had happened. The manager, Mike, refused to refund me and told me, “You should have had travel insurance.” I was dealing with recovery and new medical bills, but he argued that he couldn't afford to lose my one-night payment and angrily hung up on me. He also complained that he was losing a one-night booking, as if my medical crisis was an inconvenience to him. I don't normally post reviews, but I was shocked by how Mike handled this. From my experience, this place is unprofessional and lacks basic human decency. If they treat someone this way during a crisis, I worry about how they would handle problems during a stay. Looking at the other reviews, it seems this may be how they treat everyone. Do not book Drift Lodge & Fly Shop or do business with these people.

We stayed in one of the four-person cabins in June of 2024 while visiting Yellowstone, and it worked perfectly for us. The little kitchen let us make breakfast and pack lunches instead of buying every meal. It's a scenic place to come back to after a day in the park. The drive from the West entrance takes a bit, but we liked being away from the town bustle when it was time to unwind. The staff were super nice and helped graciously when I accidentally locked our key inside the cabin. My boyfriend and I would definitely stay again.
