15 on 57th by Wild Dunes, Luxury Home Close to Resort Core With Amenity Access, Isle of Palms

We’ve already started planning a return after a really enjoyable stay. The community is quiet, with lots nearby, and a quick stroll takes you to a white sand beach. The pools were lovely, and everything felt professionally run, with that Southern charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Molly at the front desk. There are plenty of good restaurants close by on IOP. We loved Acme Lowcountry Kitchen, and the onsite Coastal Crust made great pizza.

I'm reviewing Wild Dunes Tennis Center. I've been here several times, and the Tennis Pros are extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and lovely to be around. A special shout out to Tori, who was absolutely wonderful during the clinics and made this particular trip special. Such a pleasure to be around. Happy birthday, and enjoy your trip celebrating! It’s quiet here, which was exactly what I wanted, especially with the place nearly empty just before Christmas. You’ll find very little retail within a 12-minute drive, though by 17 minutes you can reach just about any shop or restaurant you’d reasonably want. There seems to be plenty to do too, with golf, tennis, swimming, and the beach. It’s a bit out of the way, but once you arrive, you can get most things.

We had travel insurance, so after a funeral came up on the weekend we’d booked, we thought moving our Wild Dunes stay to another weekend would be straightforward. We were even willing to accept losing some of the booking’s value. Instead, customer service showed no sympathy and immediately acted as though the request itself was unbelievable. They demanded proof of the death, and said it had to be a death certificate. Having to seek that document after losing someone just to reschedule a weekend away added insult to the situation. We won’t give Wild Dunes our business again, and as locals we’ll strongly discourage others from going. They should be ashamed.
