Pavillion 60 had a great location, but it was dated, cluttered, and filthy for what we paid, over $10,000 per week. There were dirty dishes, crumbs and food bits on the shelves, food on the cabinet fronts, a marked-up TV screen in the living room, and trash on the bedroom floors. The owner’s belongings were stacked in the closets. When we contacted guest services, they said we could pay for another cleaning. We thought the price covered a clean unit, and this one felt nasty.

There were no beach towels, chairs, or cooler, but don’t let that put you off renting this place. It’s much more spacious and beautifully decorated than the online photos suggest, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. You won’t be sorry.

There are so many family activity rooms and spaces here, good for spending time together or stepping away for a break when you need one. We chose this particular spot because my sisters live far from the ocean, in Minnesota and Colorado, and wanted them to enjoy its unique surroundings.

Isle of Palms feels like somewhere I could call home. It’s a great vacation spot, and I’d come back a million times.

The views are beautiful, there are plenty of amenities, and the staff are really friendly. I’d definitely come back.
