Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Issaquah

We stayed at the Hilton Garden 2/27-3/2/26 and will be back in a month for more testing for our daughter, but I probably won't stay here again. It's a fairly nice hotel, which makes that a shame. We were in town for hospital appointments and requested an ADA room (rm 440) with a roll in shower for our special-needs daughter. Booking was easy, and the digital key was nice. The room had occasional ants in the bathroom, very low shower pressure, and no exhaust fan. Our dogs found scraps on the floor to eat, so it seemed the room hadn't been vacuumed, and there was leftover food in the freezer. We froze the first night because the wall control only worked on AC. A maintenance guy disconnected it the next day so we could get heat. The beds were very comfortable, but all of us woke up sore every morning. I bought my own pillows because theirs were way past their prime, and no one offered replacements even after I mentioned the problem.

There was a hallway door that slammed whenever anyone went through it, loud enough to sound like a door being slammed in your own room. The bathroom fan was installed without a switch to turn it on, for some bizarre reason. No one mentioned that the pool was closed when we booked or arrived. It wasn't locked, and it looked fully operational, so they repeatedly had to kick people out. The only notice was a little sign, off to the side rather than in front of the door until I moved it. I don't know why the pool was shut down, but if it isn't being maintained properly, it could be a health hazard for families.

We stayed overnight for a medical treatment and felt very welcome. LeeAnn in the restaurant was lovely to see and so helpful. And that blackberry and brie burger was awesome. I'd never tried anything like it, but it was so good that I'm looking forward to coming back. Compliments to the chef.

The room was clean, but the HVAC was noisy and I didn't sleep for three days. I was there for a family meeting about my in-laws' funeral when staff called to ask if a couple of service techs could come into the room to fix it. They rented the room knowing the heating and cooling system was broken. The bathroom fan didn't work either. I did complain, and no discount was offered.
