The first floor had a strong mold smell, like there might be a leak, and the curtains and bedding were stained. The staff were really nice and moved us to another room, but we ultimately chose to stay somewhere else.

The location is just outside downtown on a commercial strip, which worked well. Rooms were generally clean, but they could use a deep cleaning. There was dust at eye level and cobwebs tucked into the lamps. The staff were friendly, though they seemed short staffed.

For a visit to see your kids at college, this is a decent inexpensive option. The rooms were updated, the beds comfortable and clean, and breakfast was fresh with a good selection. Front desk staff were very friendly, and the location has shopping and restaurants all around it. It seemed reasonably well maintained overall. The noise was the biggest problem. The updated rooms have vinyl plank floors where there used to be noise absorbing carpet, and the gaps under the doors are huge, so hallway sound carries right into the room. I had to stuff a towel under the door to sleep. The parking lot was also very dark and needs a light. There’s no daily maid service, which may be fine for a night or two but could be a problem on a longer stay. At check-in they said Saturday breakfast ran until 10am, but they packed it up at 9.

We booked rooms here for several employees working an out of town job, and the stay turned into a billing nightmare. Eight employees were each overcharged by one night. After MANY conversations, we still never fully got the issue resolved. Check-in went badly for our employees, and they complained that the rooms weren’t good. We don’t usually choose Quality Inns, but the other hotels were fully booked. Now we know why this one had availability. If it’s your only option, check the bill carefully, and don’t expect a high quality room.
