Timmy at Latitude made dinner a highlight, with great recommendations, tasty drinks, and such a warm, capable way with us. The views are stunning, the food was wonderful, and the staff were fantastic throughout. Whether you want a girls' getaway, golf, a spa break, or just quiet time alone, this resort fits. Honestly, it was one of the best trips I've ever taken.

I loved the gym, which had plenty of equipment, and even though the chilly weather kept us from golfing, we plan to return. The resort is immaculate, gorgeous, luxurious, and the food was amazing too. Everyone was attentive and courteous. Rayder made me feel welcome when I arrived and we had a lovely conversation. Sadie, the host at Latitude, remembered guests' names and made our morning. Maxwell at Basalt was charming, knew the menu inside out, and finished our evening with thoughtful recommendations and a touch of class. I'm glad this place is an option, and I'd highly recommend it.

Basalt was a bright spot, with a fantastic meal, and the property itself is beautiful. But the staff interactions didn't feel like the resort experience we expected, so when we're back in St. George, we'll probably try somewhere else instead of returning to Black Desert. At check-in, we asked for a quiet room away from the ongoing construction, ideally with a view. Since I'm pregnant and have trouble sleeping, we were told the room would be a good fit. It faced the construction and parking lot, right over the valet and main entrance. Even with the balcony closed, we heard the valet radio, golf cart beeps, and plenty of other noise. When we asked to move, the person helping us looked visibly annoyed and said, “we have over 300 people staying here this weekend.” They did move us down the hall, and that room was much quieter. I've stayed in hotels costing a quarter as much per night where the service was much more pleasant. We were also told to register our car online, and the system prompted us to pay even though we used the outdoor lot, which is supposedly complimentary.

The views of the red rocks are killer, and the Greater Zion Cup was one of the coolest experiences I've had. Everyone was so nice. I didn't golf, but the course looked gorgeous, and the golfers I talked to had great things to say about it. Ebikes are available for riding Snow Canyon, and the spa was polished and nearly empty during the week. Building 46 is handy if you want to park under your room and skip the valet when coming and going. The rooms are high end, very clean, and have blinds and bedroom lights controlled from an iPad. There were plenty of carts to take people to pickleball, which opened new in 2026. It needs more shade, though that's supposed to come with time. The cart ride back to the hotel takes about three minutes and lets you bypass the parking line. Food was good for a hotel, though St George and kayenta art village were much better. The coffee tasted like brown gas station water, but feellove up the road worked pretty well as an alternative. They're building a water park, so I'd go before it's finished unless you love water parks.

We rented a lovely four-bedroom condo near the putting green, which I'd recommend for a group golf trip. The course was in great shape. The frustrating part was that there were no pin sheets, and the cart GPS showed the wrong pin locations on both days. That really took away from the golf experience. Without that issue, I'd give it five stars.
