Crystal Inn Jacinto City

Jay and His wife are amazing, and this is easily my favorite place around. It’s in a small town right by the movie theaters, and I’ll be back. The maids are so sweet and keep things in order. You can ask them for extra towels or toilet paper, to have the room mopped, or to get the sheets and bedding changed. The bedding is hot steamed and very sanitized, and everything feels fresh with a great atmosphere. There are snacks out front too. My mom always said, closed mouths never get fed! I highly recommend staying here.

This place has a lot of potential if they get some Maids, but it’s VERY DIRTY. The shower had hair from the previous person, the floors weren’t swept or mopped, and the sheets and shower were FILTHY. It didn’t seem like anyone was really cleaning the rooms, just making the bed and putting a false label on the toilet saying it had been disinfected. Disgusting!

For the price, the rooms and cleanliness are great. The motel feels very modern, with some nice in-room features and good amenities. The big problem is the train track right past the front. Trains blasted their horns late at night and early in the morning, loud enough to wake even a very heavy sleeper. It’s unfortunate, though there’s nothing the motel can do about it.

Getting the room card was quick and organized, and the rooms and bathroom were clean and sanitized. The beds were comfortable, the TV had lots of channels, and the shower felt refreshing. The only drawbacks were the AC taking a long time to cool the room in Houston’s heat this time of year, and the train tracks across the street, where you might hear horns now and then. Everything else was very good, and I’d highly recommend it.
