They tried to charge my card $1007.84 for one night. Thankfully, my card company declined it and notified me.

I was driving a long way between states and it was getting late. This motel was the only place nearby with a room, and I only needed a few hours of sleep before getting back on the road. It was filthy, neglected, and full of bedbugs. You could see different sized bugs on the bedsheets. I'd never seen bedbugs before and had no idea how bad their bites could be. For the last four days my ankle and arm have been swollen, red, painful, and itchy where I was bitten, and it hasn't gone away. A bite is itchy and painful. Places like this should be closed by health authorities. I'm going to report it to the health authorities in Texas because it's dangerous to people's health.
