Four Points by Sheraton Jacksonville Beachfront

The food got rave reviews from everyone, and the Four Points chef really delivered. I hosted a conference here for around 50-60 people, and the accommodating staff and ideal location made it work very well. All the rooms face the ocean, and they’re fantastic. Last year’s summit at a huge chain in SC was nowhere near this good. I know the hotel hosts lots of weddings, but it’s a great conference option too. Hope to return soon. Thanks, Four Points!

Beautiful views from the rooms, comfortable beds, and a hot shower with strong pressure. The front desk service was great, too. One of my favorite places on Florida’s East Coast. Five stars don’t feel like enough.

The service around a simple food order was the worst I’ve had at a hotel. We used the elevator QR code to order food for downstairs pickup, but after about 40 minutes staff couldn’t find the order in their system. We understood, went back upstairs, and then got a call 10 minutes later saying my sandwich wasn’t available. I switched to another one on the menu, then waited nearly another hour for the pickup call. The ice cream was missing, so we called and were told it would be brought up. When the man arrived, we also realized the salad had no Caesar dressing. He checked and found they were completely out, so we accepted a substitute. My pulled pork “sandwich” came without buns. I went back downstairs, but they had no regular buns left and gave me just three small slider buns, though there was enough filling for four or five. The food itself wasn’t awful, just not very good, but the whole ordeal ruined the meal. The rooms also feel outdated despite the renovated lobby, and for the price I don’t think it’s worth it. The location is the only reason I’d consider staying. I can’t recommend it.

Being right by the beach was a huge plus, especially since we were there for my wife’s marathon and the start and finish line were practically next door. We only stayed one night with our daughter, but the staff made everything easy, from confirming the booking by phone to arranging late checkout. It was simple to stop at the desk whenever we had a question. Our executive suite was spacious, with a pullout couch, desk, and TV in the first room, then a separate bedroom with a good-sized bed, chair, and space for bags. The room was nice overall. The bedroom TV had live channels but wouldn’t let us sign in to streaming services. The elevator was very slow, though the hotel was being refurbished, which may explain it. The AC was the biggest annoyance. It made a loud, airplane-like noise when adjusting the temperature. It was a cold weekend, so maybe the heat cycling had something to do with it, but it was still bothersome. In summer, direct beach access from here would be super convenient.
