The noise and the front desk service made this the worst hotel stay I can remember, even though I usually like Doubletree hotels by Hilton. We were across from a family yelling and coming in and out constantly. A helpful desk employee eventually asked them to quiet down, but later teen boys shouted in the hall from 1:30 to 6:30 AM in their underwear. I asked them to stop at 5:30, but they kept going. After only two hours of sleep, I was also woken by housekeeping yelling down the hall. Online check-in apparently didn't count. We arrived late, were marked as a no-show, and charged, despite having prepaid a nonrefundable booking. The employee working on 2/19 scolded us and had a very unwelcoming attitude. The room was okay, though it didn't look like a hotel built in 2021. Housekeeping that morning was kind, and the helpful front desk woman later came to our rescue when we couldn't get in on the second level. Checking out Saturday 02/21/26 was another bad interaction. The woman started with “yeah” instead of a greeting. She said my free coupon was only for food, then asked if I'd even done the survey. When I said I'd missed that part, she rolled her eyes. We hadn't been offered cookies at check-in, so I asked for them. She sighed, rolled her eyes again, and tossed them onto the counter. Two out of three front desk encounters were awful. I won't stay here again.

We spent one night here at the end of September during a weekend trip, booking with points through the Hilton app. We asked at arrival about adding another night, but the hotel was sold out. Parking was a hassle, so we left the car on the street in front; there's also a garage next door. The room was clean and roomy enough for a night. In the double room, the nightstand sits between the beds, so a couple who both need a bedside outlet may have to use both beds unless they bring an extension cord. I also found the pillows uncomfortable. The check-in employee was professional and covered the usual information, but delivered it quickly and very matter-of-factly, with a bit of a drill sergeant feel. We didn't get a cookie, and I wasn't going to ask. Breakfast was okay. I had some buffet items, and they also make omelets fresh. The dining room staff were friendly and personable. We walked around town to the comedy center and Lucy/Desi museum, and the location worked well. Street parking is free on weekends.

We got in around 1 a.m. after I called ahead to check that the reservation wouldn't be canceled and to ask about the incidental fee. At check-in, there was pushback about the card I was using, even though it was a Visa, and I was told I couldn't use it before they eventually let us check in. The desk clerk was kind of rude, then got really rude when our key cards didn't work. The room was clean but ice cold. We stayed until about 10:30 a.m., but online it showed that we'd canceled, even though we hadn't. I never got any points for the stay. The service wasn't worth my time or money.

We found parking easy and free, the coffee was provided, and the beds were comfortable. Staff were gracious and helpful, and the hotel suited our short weekend in Jamestown. The location is handy, just two blocks from the town's main attraction, the very cool National Comedy Center. The Lucille Ball museum, bars, restaurants, and coffee shops are also only one or two blocks away. We were disappointed the bar wasn't open during our visit. If the posted hours say 10, we think it should still be open at 8:30.

That city view over the holiday weekend after Christmas was magical. Our room was perfect, and everyone at the front desk was kind and caring. The coffee room had more choices than I could have imagined. Thank you!
