Days Inn Jasper

Cameron was so sweet and helpful when I made my reservation by phone. When I arrived, he greeted me warmly. I needed extra sheets, and he stopped what he was doing right away to get them for me.

The breakfast is the reason we gave this place four stars. On the first day there was cereal, waffles, and eggs that had been sitting out a long time. Days two and three had no eggs, just breakfast and waffles. Otherwise, the room was pretty much perfect: quiet and very clean, with a comfortable bed, enough pillows and towels, a clean bathroom, and a shower with great hot water. Staff were friendly, and having police across the street made it feel very safe. It was also close to everything. My husband and I would stay again. It’s one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at while traveling.

Apart from this, we had a good stay. I’m warning people about an unexplained $2 safe fee added to the bill without asking. I only stayed one night, so I don’t know whether it’s charged per night. I called to request a refund, and they acted clueless. A few weeks later, there’s still no refund. It feels like a dishonest way to skim a small amount from every customer, figuring nobody will go through the hassle of getting it back.

It’s an older hotel, but the rooms are still comfortable. A good place to stay, always clean, friendly, and quiet.
