We were moving from Illinois to Texas with our pets and stopped here for a night because we were exhausted. The bed was comfortable and I slept well, though maybe I was just tired. But the greeting from staff was nonexistent and they weren’t friendly. The whole place smelled like fried food and curry, and our room was like a sauna. Breakfast amounted to nothing, just a simple pot of coffee. There’s a Hilton up the road that I wish we could’ve stayed at, but we were traveling with pets. I’d never choose this place for a vacation or if I weren’t traveling with pets. This place was nothing like the pictures online, it’s an absolute dump. The bathroom was tiny. The covers smelled like men’s cologne, so I’m assuming they hadn’t been washed. They didn’t leave a new roll of toilet paper, just folded the end of the quarter roll that was left. There was hair in the tub, so I couldn’t even shower before getting back on the road. So gross.

I keep coming back because this place is clean, affordable, and in a good location. The staff are always very friendly. I do wish they’d put a coffee pot in each room and actually have breakfast available, though.

We had our 9 week old pup with us, and this was the only pet friendly place we could find. The room itself was sufficient, and parking worked out better in the back, where there was easier access. My dad doesn’t do stairs well, so having a first floor room helped, though it was more or less in the basement. Service was okay when we arrived, but the first room they gave us hadn’t even been cleaned. I went to the desk and the guy moved us to a clean one. I’m an early riser, up at 4 am, and there was NO COFFEE!!!! What little they had was yesterday’s coffee, cold, and there was no coffee pot in the room, which I hadn’t noticed on the website. The lot was a bit small for our truck and car hauler. Aside from those things, it was okay for one night. I wouldn’t recommend staying longer unless you bring your own coffee pot!!!!

For the price, this was a great deal. The staff were helpful, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked and the shower was hot. We had a great stay!

Friendly, welcoming staff made the biggest difference for me. Every interaction felt attentive, and everything from check-in through check-out went smoothly. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the whole stay felt well cared for. I had an excellent visit and would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.
